Kindergarten
Ages 3 years 8 months - 5 years 8 months

Our Kindergarten Programmes service children attending Eglinton Public School's Kindergarten. The Junior Kindergarten and/or mixed JK/SK groups have a maximum of 20 children with two qualified ECE teachers in each programme. The Senior Kindergarten group has a maximum of 24 children with two qualified ECE teachers.

In addition to CECC's staff, we often have student teachers and volunteers join our programmes.

Children attending the School's Morning Kindergarten are cared for from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Children attending the School's Afternoon Kindergarten are cared for from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The children are escorted to and from the School's Kindergarten classes by childcare staff.

Nutritious lunches and snacks are prepared by our on-site cook, they are provided at no extra cost. Please see our sample menu in the Family Handbook.

On school professional development days and breaks (Winter Break and March Break) childcare is available from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. There is no additional charge (fees are pro-rated).
